Description
- 1985 Dehler 31 / Duetta 94 sailboat. This German-engineered racer-cruiser offers the best of both worlds in regards to comfort and seaworthiness. Instead of a typical hull to deck joint, the hull is bonded to the deck in one piece. The boat has just one fiberglass pan under the engine, galley, and head. The rest of the boat is “stick built” which makes for easy access to the hull and wiring/plumbing.
- This boat is a sistership to the Dehler featured in the “sailboat crash test” video found on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvxhQO4pw2E-
Background
- This vessel was built in 1985 in Germany and delivered to Kemah, Texas in 1986 where the original owner used her for racing. The second owner moved her to Illinois in 1999. We bought her in 2009 and completely renovated her. She’s proven herself as a perfect pocket cruiser, traveling thousands of miles on open salt water and inland rivers/waterways before returning to freshwater lakes.
