Well, it is hard to believe, but we are almost halfway through March; Joel has been living at the marina every weekend working to get our boat in ship-shape for summer. He went up the mast this weekend to install a wind meter. We also removed the plug and installed the actual depth meter in the hull yesterday, and were super excited to note that the gauges work… apparently we have about 3 feet of water under our keel… lol. Yesterday was also spring cleaning day for the Pascagoula Run and Joel’s parents’ boat: the Dandelion. Bob, Terry, Joel and I were all cleaning, organizing, and doing the dirty work (for example, I cleaned out the bilge for the first time since we’ve owned the boat) so that we can have more time for fun in the spring/summer.
